Wire conveyor belts

They are used in almost all branches of industry as a means of speeding up transport and handling of products as well as overall efficiency of production. These belts are often already part of production equipment and technological units. These are mainly wire belts, but also hinged steel belts.

USED MATERIALS

The belts are made of various materials according to the purpose of their use. The most common materials for their production are shiny types of steel of common quality, galvanized steel, stainless steel or steel resistant to high temperatures and last, but not the least also acids. As for the metal belts, the range of application is for temperatures from - 200 °C to + 1200 °C.

  • Shiny steel (black)
the working temperature does not exceed approx. 350 °C
  • Galvanized steel
  • Galvanized steel
Up to approx. 700 °C. The most commonly used material quality types are DIN 1.4301.
  • High temperature resistant steel

TYPE 100

Description

The belt is made of densely woven spiral wires of a flat profile. Alternately left and right woven spirals are connected to each other by perpendicular cross wires. The ends of these cross wires are either finished by a loop or by an inward incurvation of the belt. The third option is that they are welded. The way of their finishing is usually chosen according to the diameter of the cross wires - in the case of thinner wires by a loop or incurvation, in the case of thicker ones by welding.

Use

It is used as a cooling belt in the confectionery and chocolate industry, as a conveyor belt in the chemical industry, as a cooling belt for rubber and plastic products, for glass products and hot castings etc.

TYPE 300

Description

The belt is made of widely woven spiral wires of a flat profile. The crimped cross wires allow the original structure of the belt to be retained after it is tensioned as they prevent spiral from moving.

Use

It is used as a cooling belt in glassworks and ceramics factories, as a conveyor belt in the confectionery and chocolate industry, as a conveyor belt in the chemical industry, as a washing belt in the beverage and canning industry, as a drying belt in the wood industry, etc.

TYPE 330, 340

Description

The belt is made of a widely woven spiral wire. To obtain the maximum web density, this type of the belt is produced by placing multiple cross wires per one pitch (3 or 4). The ends of these cross wires are finished in a weld. In this case the spiral wire has a flat profile. This belt is very dense and retains heat well.

Use

It is used as a cooling and conveyor belt in glassworks, as a conveyor belt for hardening and tempering furnaces, as a conveyor belt in the food-processing industry, as a conveyor belt in the electro-technical and engineering industries, etc.

TYPE 400

Description

The belt is made of widely woven spiral wires of a circular profile. Alternately left and right woven spirals are connected to each other by crimped cross wires. Use

It is used as a cooling belt in glassworks and ceramics factories, as a conveyor belt in the confectionery and chocolate industry, as a conveyor belt in the chemical industry, as a washing belt in the beverage and canning industry, as a drying belt in the wood industry, as a conveyor belt for the foil packaging, etc.

TYPE 402

Description

The belt is made of a widely woven spiral wire of a circular profile. However, the alternating left and right wound spirals are doubled to achieve maximum density of the belt and they are interconnected by crimped cross wires. The ends of these cross wires are welded. This belt is very dense and retains heat well. In addition, doubled spiral wires prevent the wires from shifting and increase the tensile strength of the belt.

Use

It is used as a belt for furnace hardening, annealing or brazing.

TYPE 500, 502

Description

The belt is made of unilaterally woven spiral wires (either leftward or rightward). These spirals are connected to each other by cross wires and finished by welding.

Use

It is used as a conveyor belt in hardening and tempering furnaces and for further heat treatment up to temperatures of 1150 °C.

TYPE 550

Description

This type of belt is the simplest version of a woven metal belt. The belt is made of unilaterally woven spiral wires (either leftward or rightward) which are intertwined. The ends are finished either by welding or incurvation.

Use

It is used as a washing belt in the beverage and canning industries or for transport of labels, as a conveyor belt for the foil packaging. However, it has to be mostly supported with another thicker belt. It is also used as a metal barrier in lift platforms to prevent people from entering, or as an interfiltrating insert, etc.

TYPE 600

Description

The belt is made of cross wires which are alternately intertwoven with steel ropes which are in the direction of the belt movement. The cross wires may be straight or crimped. The wires at the edge of the belt are either bent or welded together.

Use

It is used as a washing or drying belt in the food industry, especially for drying fruit and vegetables, as a drainage belt in the sugar industry, as a drying belt in the chemical and ceramic industries, etc.

Product 1 - Image 1

TYPE 700

Description

The belt is made of regularly bent wires, which are intertwoven. The wires are bent not only in the horizontal, but also in the vertical direction, therefore it is possible to bend them even on a small contact edge, but only in one direction. Thus, if the belt is incorrectly fitted, it can result in permanent deformation and damage to the belt. At the end of the belt the wires are finished by a loop. Connecting pipes as well as drive wheels can be delivered at customer’s request.

Use

It is used as a baking and drying belt in the food industry, especially in the baking, confectionary and chocolate industries, as a conveyor belt in the chemical and engineering industries, as a conveyor belt for foil packaging, etc.

TYPE 800

Description

The belt is made of cross wires on which are threaded with short longitudinal wires in a required density and finished in a loop at both ends. The density of the belt is determined by the distance between the individual longitudinal wires. The distance specification as well as strengthening the belt is done by welding additional cross wires to the longitudinal wires. To reinforce the belt, flat steel plates are inserted into the edges and inside the belt. The ends of the cross wires are either threaded with a nut or welded. At customer’s request, drive wheels can be the part of a delivery.

Use

It is used as a baking and drying belt in the food industry, especially in the confectionery and chocolate industry, as a conveyor and washing belt in the chemical and engineering industries, as a cooling belt for rubber and plastic products and a conveyor belt for foil packaging, etc.

TYPE 900

Description

The belt is made of cross wires on which various bent flat steel profiles are threaded. These determine the mesh size. The ends of the cross wires are finished in a weld. At customer’s request, drive wheels can be the part of the belt delivery.

Use

It is used as a drying belt in the food industry, as a conveyor and washing belt in the chemical and engineering industries, as a cooling belt for rubber and plastic products, as a conveyor belt for foil packaging, etc.

Product 1 - Image 1

TYPE 1000

Description

Using a special equipment, this belt is made in such a way that it is able to move also into a curve. This is possible due to a loosely placed cross wire, which in this way can create a different pitch size. Special loops for gear wheels are placed and welded at the end of each cross wire. There may or may not be placed spiral wires between the cross wires. On request, drive wheels can be supplied.

Use

It is used as a spiral belt for freezing and cooling tunnels, as a conveyor belt in the confectionery and chocolate industry, as a cooling belt in bakeries, as a conveyor belt in the chemical industry, as a carrying belt in special dryers, as a conveyor belt for special unloading towers in ports and at airports, etc.
