They are screen surfaces made of wedge-shaped wire, which provides unique permeable properties. They are used in drainage, filtration, sludge removal and sorting.

The screen surface in technological equipment (sorters, drainage troughs, chutes, strainer bottoms, vats, fermentation reactors, etc.) is fixed in various ways. As a rule, it is screwed or wedged to the structure.

WELDED WEDGE WIRE SCREENS

They are made of wedge-shaped wires welded onto transverse profile wires. They are characterized by precise gap width control, a perfectly smooth working surface and a stable construction. They can be further reinforced. Depending on the nature and abrasiveness of the material to be screened, the shape of the wedge wire can be changed and the service life of the screen can be affected. Welded slot screens can be manufactured for certain applications (paper industry) with wedge wires welded onto the beams at a certain angle.

LOOP WEDGE WIRE SCREENS

They are made of wedge-shaped wires with looped meshes through which reinforcing bars pass. The reinforcing bars are terminated with threads with nuts, or are threaded and welded to the side beams, or to the supporting frame along the entire circumference. Mesh surfaces without reinforcement can be additionally shaped.

SLOTTED CYLINDERS
