LIWELL SORTERS
Performance and quality of sorting where conventional vibrating screeners cannot
FLIP FLOW HEIN LEHMANN Screeners
Sorting of difficult-to-sort, fine and sticky materials under any conditions.
Specific high-frequency screeners equipped with membrane polyurethane screens with a self-cleaning effect.
Sorting principle:
- Trampoline-based movement of the screen surfaces, based on the principle of high acceleration of the sorted material in combination with the self-cleaning effect of the screens.
- The movement of the material through the screen is not ensured by an eccentric shaft or a vibrator, but is based on a combination of the movement of the screen "sheets" (membranes) and the inclination of the screen.
Basic characteristics:
- High sorting ability under virtually any conditions (high humidity, mud, clay, dust)
- High durability of the screen surfaces (the screen surfaces are made of elastic polyurethane, the durability of which is several times higher than that of screens made of abrasion-resistant steel)
- Self-cleaning screen surfaces. A specific feature of LIWELL screeners is their ability to switch screen surfaces. At this extreme point, the mesh size of the screen increases for a short time to 10 mm. At this point, material that would normally get stuck in the mesh falls down, leaving the screen surface free for further sorting.
- High sorting accuracy. The high efficiency of the screen surfaces of the screener ensures sorting accuracy and separation of material that would be very difficult to achieve on a conventional vibrating screener (under any conditions).
- Due to the specific sorting method and the high acceleration of the sorted material, all sorters are fitted with a cover as standard, which ensures that the material does not fly out of the sorter.
Examples of use in practice:
Crushed aggregate (quarries)
Material: dolomite, andesite, melaphyre, basalt and others.
Border grading: 0.9-10 mm (in Slovakia most often fr. 0-2)
Humidity: 2-15%
Capacity: 20-300 t/h
Gravel (gravel pits)
Material: quarried and crushed gravel, sand and others
Border grading: 1-15 mm (in Slovakia most often 0-2, or plaster mixtures)
Humidity: up to 10%
Capacity? 20-300 t/h
Slag
Material: blast furnace slag and others.
Border sorting: 2-20 mm
Humidity: up to 20%
Capacity: 20-300 t/h
Compost
Material: natural, or waste compost and others
Border sorting: 4-20 mm
Humidity: 30-50 mm
Capacity: 5-30 t/h
