Polyurethane screens

Maximum durability for both wet and dry sorting

Polyurethane screens are an ideal replacement for wire screens for sorting dry and wet materials, if the screen surface size is sufficient. They are characterized by a several times longer service life and resistance to mesh clogging.

  1. Extreme durability in both wet and dry sorting
  2. Suitable as impact or complete sorting areas
  3. In the case of a modular system, wide variability and the possibility of adjusting the screen area in a short time

POLYURETHANE TENSIONED SCREENS

Polyurethane tensioned screen surfaces are used in the screening of abrasive materials that tend to clog screens. They are made of anti-abrasive materials in hardnesses from 55 to 90 Shore, depending on the screened material. Their reinforcement consists of steel cables and transverse steel reinforcement as load-bearing elements in the construction of these screens. They are suitable as a direct replacement for metal screens with a rebate without any additional modifications to the screener.

Polyurethane screens cast in one piece with tensioning seams designed for longitudinal and transverse clamping on the screener.

  1. Several times longer service life compared to metal screens
  2. Possibility of use in combination with wire screens on one screen surface without the need to intervene in the design of the sorter
  3. Possibility to deliver with holes for mounting the central pressure bar

BUILDING SYSTEM CT MODULE

The modular system of CT-modules represents the most widely used type of polyurethane screen installation in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. This system is characterized by easy installation, long service life and great variability of additional accessories. It consists of modules in the size of 300 x 1000 mm, which allow for quick and easy replacement of individual modules, which can be changed and interchanged with each other. These modules have a standard weight of up to 10 kg, which requires much lower maintenance requirements as well as overall handling.

In the event of screen wear, the customer is not forced to replace the entire stretched area of, for example, 2 m2, but only a module of 0.3 m2, which results in significant financial and time savings.

Optional accessories: Wire adapters (allowing the combination of wire screens and polyurethane screens), sidewalls, wedges, retarders, deflectors and other accessories that affect the overall quality of sorting.

Installation in steel C-beams in dimensions 40 x 40, 40 x 80, or 50 x 90 mm.

  1. Extreme durability in both wet and dry sorting
  2. Great variability in the use of different sieves and accessories
  3. Reduced maintenance, handling and screen replacement requirements

Mesh size

0.3 - 200 mm (square and rectangular mesh) - for sorting and drainage. Possibility of supplying solid surfaces without perforation.

Normally 300 x 1000 mm, custom-made possible up to max. dimensions 400 x 1500 mm

BUILDING SYSTEM - TYPE 85

The modular system of type 85 modules is another very popular type of installation with polyurethane screens. It is an alternative to the mentioned CT modules, which is installed in identical beams. The difference lies in the use of an adapter, which is located between the screens and the steel beam. It is characterized by a long service life as well as variability of additional accessories. It consists of modules in the size of 300 x 1000 mm, which allow for quick and easy replacement of individual modules, which can be changed and interchanged with each other. These modules have a standard weight of up to 10 kg, which requires much lower maintenance requirements as well as overall handling.

Optional accessories: Wire adapters (allowing the combination of wire screens and polyurethane screens), sidewalls, wedges, retarders, deflectors and other accessories that affect the overall quality of sorting.

Sieve thickness

30 - 60 mm

Material

Polyurethane elastomer type A in the range of 55 - 90 Shore

(When draining - thermoplastic inserts)

Dimensions

Normally 300 x 1000 mm, custom-made possible up to max. dimensions 400 x 1500 mm

PIN MODULAR SYSTEM WITH PINS

This is an older type of modular screen system where the screens are attached to simple beams with holes using polyurethane pins. In this case too, the system is composed of standard modules in the dimensions 300 x 1000 or 300 x 600 mm.

This system is characterized by its simple assembly and less variability of additional accessories. We recommend it to our customers as a replacement for existing older installations.

  1. Extreme durability in both wet and dry sorting
  2. Great variability in the use of different sieves and accessories
  3. Reduced maintenance, handling and screen replacement requirements

Mesh size

0.25 - 120 mm (square and rectangular mesh) - for sorting and drainage. Possibility of supplying solid surfaces without perforation.

MEMBRANE SCREENS

Membrane screens for high-frequency screeners are made of polyurethane, vulcolan or rubber. The membrane surfaces are cast in molds and then punched on punching presses. The screen surfaces are secured to the screener by mounting holes or a specific profile integrated into the edge of the screen surface. The screens can be supplied with an overlap to cover the sides of the screener.

Membrane screens are manufactured with square, rectangular, oval and circular openings.

Membrane screens for high-frequency screeners are used to screen difficult-to-sort materials with higher moisture content or a tendency to clog screen surfaces.

  1. Possibility of delivery from polyurethane, vulcan and rubber
  2. Delivery options for all types of high-frequency sorters with various types of mounting
  3. Polyurethane screens can be supplied in different hardnesses depending on their application

ELASTIC WIRE SCREENS

ELASTIC wire screens combine the advantages of several types of screens. Due to the high open area, they provide higher performance than conventional non-metallic screens. The processing of highly abrasion-resistant polyurethane wires (steel and Kevlar wires cast in polyurethane) guarantees a much longer service life than steel wire screens. The high flexibility of ELASTIC screens reduces the possibility of their sticking and clogging. The condition for the correct functioning of the screen is its correct tension in the classifier, in the range of 20-45 Nm, as with wire screens. Low weight and high flexibility are a great advantage, especially when replacing screens.
